Hygge

Hygge seems to be everyone's favourite new trend of the moment. But I don't understand why it's such a new thing. Don't you want to have a cozy and warm home in the middle of the dark winter? Cute pajamas and lounging clothing so you don't feel like a complete slob? Warm tea and lit candles? All your friends together? And ahem, binge watch Netflix?

It's all just marketing, I tell you. Even though the Danes have a cool word for it, we all know how to survive winter in hibernation bliss!

Hinoki bath salt from Japan. Only $10! I have been having detox baths recently to relax my muscles after working out. Don't know if they actually work or it's all pseudoscience, but I have been adding 2 cups of plain Epsom salt, 1/2 cup of baking soda, and 1/2 cup of hydrogen peroxide to my baths.

If you're a lazy moisturizer, but have dry skin, this is a worthy investment. Smells so good and doesn't irritate skin. Feels like a treat to yourself everytime you use it!
